This rugged, hardworking barcode printer combines proven Toshiba TEC printer features with the latest RF-LAN 802.11b technology. Featuring serial and parallel standard, user friendly open paper path for simple maintenance, and the longest head life in the industry - 3 million linear inches(76 km) or 1 year - whichever comes first.
The B-SX5 has increased memory, coming with 16mb which permits printing up to 59" in length. The 32-bit RISC processor coupled with the 32-bit RISC bus make the B-SX5 the fastest Toshiba TEC barcode printer to date and an ideal upgrade for the B-572. It can be integrated into your ERP solution, with the capability to understand XML and incorporated with any windows application using our Windows driver.
The B-SX5 provides superb reliability and performance at an incredibly low cost of ownership.
TOSHIBA TEC’s B-SX range does not have factory-fitted RFID read/write units. Depending on the specific RFID component required for a customer-specific solution, TOSHIBA TEC provides the right package to streamline a customer’s operation and provide a rapid Return on Investment.
Constructed from heavy-duty steel, the B-SX5 is ideally suited to any high output application. TOSHIBA TEC has retained all the proven features of the very popular B-572 printer, whilst providing the latest technical innovations in functionality and performance.
With the touch of a button the B-SX5 will be turning out labels almost instantly at speeds up to 205 mm a second due to the continuing advances in processor capacity. TOSHIBA TEC’s innovations in ribbon-motor control also produce ‘REAL’ on-the-fly ribbon save without affecting the print throughput.
Access to print head, platen, paper path and sensors is now easier with the development of a new wide opening mechanism, making paper loading and cleaning quicker than ever.
Using the very latest print head technology from TOSHIBA, the B-SX5 increases the use of in-house components to ensure dazzling print clarity at 306 dpi for the B-SX5.
